Is the book sold in Singapore? Or do we have to buy it online?

The Void Deck, i dont think it'll be as easy as that. Lots of people will probably tell u the same thing too. One word: GRC.

to the other person asking for the book - i think you'll have to buy it online, here. US$15. Not too sure whether the stores will carry it or not. Let's see about that.

You may enquire at (they have a niche in books on Southeast Asia). They do not have it as of now, but if enough enquiries about it come in, i'm sure they'll think about it. Either way, if u want to be special, they can also bring it in for you specially. Just call them up and let them know.

sorry about that previous comment on the bookstore - i apparently didnt do the hyperlink properly for that one. The name of the bookstore is "Select Books". Click on the link to get there.

Jeff. Yah true on that aspect. GRC sucks. If 2-3 person GRC maybe OK lor on grounds of minority reprsentation but from the way things are happening, there will be a 10 person Marine Parade GRC that stretches left from Marine Parade all the way to Tuas. Than got the 9 monkey AMK GRC circus that creeps from AMK up to Woodlands and down to Tanjong Pagar. hehe what will THEY think of next? Round and round it goes, nobody knows.

hey for those folks interested to read the book, here's something for u. Why not indicate ur interest to Select Books, by calling them up at 6732-1515, and asking if they'll bring the book in? If a bunch of people all call up to do that.. i'm sure they'll at least look into what the heck the title is about - and really consider bringing it in. As it is, Grace Chow has already appeared on the ST already (info courtesy of KnightofPentacles' blog), so i wont be too surprised if they start getting enquiries already.

Let's just do this simple little part to get the book into Singapore - and make it available to the rest of the Singaporeans as well (and not just only to us who may choose to order individually, and online, for ourselves). Simple, no? a little bit of pro-society, selfless action for u. A chance to contribute to the rest of Singapore, and enrich it by that one little bit. Now that's what i call "people's action" ;) Not "people's tyrannic blood-sucker." And then perhaps later on we have a party after that.
