As many of you know, TalkingCock.com became mysteriously unavailable on 11 August 2004. Please read our message below:

On 11 August 2004, TalkingCock's service suddenly became unavailable. The damage we suffered was massive, and we only managed to get the site back up on 20 August 2004.
In the process, we also lost a huge amount of data. If you proceed to enter the site, please note that you'll be reading old cock. The most recent article dates back to 16 September 2003. As you can expect, we are damn too lan.
We are still investigating the cause of the crash. As a poultry-themed site, we cannot rule out fowl play, just as we cannot rule out the possibility that it is pure and utter coincidence that our server cocked up just one day before the handover.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to our faithful readers. We are very touched by all your emails of inquiry and support.
We're now in the process of engaging professionals to perform data recovery, which is likely to cost us a lot of money.
